From two metres away it reads as a clean pinstripe. From arm’s length it doesn’t. Point collar, plain placket, buttoned cuffs, straight hem. The body’s cut a little loose through the chest so it doesn’t pull when you sit. Long sleeve. Lightweight enough for indoors year round.

Care Instructions

White cotton, so wash it on its own or with whites only. Cold or warm both work, warm gets more out of a collar that’s seen a few wears. Don’t bleach it, that yellows the stripe edges over time. Hang it up straight out of the machine while it’s damp and most of the creasing falls out on its own. If you want it sharp, iron it damp on a medium setting. The print in the weave is dyed thread, not a surface print, so the iron won’t hurt it.

Are the stripes printed or woven?
Woven from dyed thread, which is why they survive ironing and don’t crack. The cross shapes are built into the stripe itself.

Can I tuck it in?
Yes. The hem is straight and long enough to stay tucked through a day, and it looks fine loose too.

Is it see-through?
It’s a light weave, so a dark undershirt will show. White or skin-tone underneath, or nothing at all, is the safer call.

How does it fit across the shoulders?
